Over the last decades modern analytical techniques have been developed that offer new possibilities to determine the exact chemical composition of smallest sample areas, to image structures down to the nanometre scale or to detect the elemental composition of multilayer coatings.

These methods have been applied to basic research by a few industrial laboratories but the great potential of analytics for solving problems in daily work remained unused.

With this background OFG-Analytik was founded in 1993 by scientists of the university of Münster with long years experiences in surface analysis, chemistry and materials sciences. The aim was to make modern surface, thin film and micro analysis accessible to all sectors of industries. Main aspects of our service are:
