Analytical service

As a service provider, we offer our customers a comprehensive range of analytical services that goes far beyond the simple performance of various measurements, unlike traditional laboratories. Our service includes:

  • a detailed discussion of your specific needs (including, if necessary, a non-binding preliminary inspection of your samples)
  • the development of an effective analytical plan, taking into account the optimal selection of methods and equipment as well as the scope of measurements (followed by the preparation of a detailed offer)
  • the performance of surface and material analyses using the methods appropriate for your specific needs
  • the scientific evaluation of the measurement data
  • the interpretation of analytical data with a documentation of all results in a detailled report
  • the summary and documentation of the results in a detailed analysis report (in accordance with the ISO 9001/17025 standard)
  • further discussions of the issue even after the investigations have been completed

An Overview of Our Analytical Services

Order processing

The analyses are usually carried out within 5-10 working days after receipt of the order (24 or 48-hour service for an additional charge).
The investigations are planned, carried out and analyzed exclusively by highly qualified scientists and engineers.

All modern methods of surface, thin-film, micro-scale, and interfacial analysis are available for these analyses. The choice of procedure is based exclusively on the customer’s specific problem. By planning the analysis concept in a purely problem-oriented, process-independent manner, we guarantee an effective and cost-effective approach.

The test results and all information exchanged during the order processing are subject to strict confidentiality.
The entire order processing procedure complies with the requirements of ISO 9001 and is accredited under ISO 17025.

What analytical informations do you get?

Depending on your special question we can:

  • determine the chemical composition of product and material surfaces even in sub micron areas
  • identify organic trace contaminations with extreme sensitivity
  • analyse interfaces between layers with bad adhesion
  • image the composition of multi layer systems and determine the elemental composition as a function of layer thickness (depth profiling)
  • characterise smallest particles, fibres…
  • detect and identify oil, fat, additives, lubricants, detergents, paint components… or even pharmaceuticals or biomolecules with high sensitivity
  • determine the elemental composition of material surfaces together with the elemental binding state
  • identify the material used (metals, plastics, semiconductors…)
  • image the lateral distribution of elements and chemical compounds on product surfaces (element mapping / chemical mapping)
  • detect trace elements in materials in the ppm to ppb range
  • image µm- and nm-structures at material surfaces and interfaces
