The OFG-Analytik GmbH
OFG-Analytik is a company that has been active in the areas of quality assurance, error and damage analysis as well as research and development for over 30 years. Using the most modern measuring methods, the chemical composition (inorganic and organic) and microstructure of any materials/surfaces (metals, plastics, glass, ceramics, …) or coatings are examined by an interdisciplinary team of experienced natural scientists.
Contamination in the room air (aerosols), microscopic defects or contamination in the ultra-trace range that cause product defects such as optical discoloration or debonding can also be analysed and characterized.
OFG-Analytik is a quality-certified company according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018.
Background
Over the last decades modern analytical techniques have been developed that offer new possibilities to determine the exact chemical composition of smallest sample areas, to image structures down to the nanometre scale or to detect the elemental composition of multilayer coatings. These methods have been applied to basic research by a few industrial laboratories but the great potential of analytics for solving problems in daily work remained unused.
Against this background, OFG-Analytik was founded in 1993 to provide industrial companies with access to the entire spectrum of modern surface, thin-film and micro-range analysis as part of a practice-oriented service. The selection of the optimum process or suitable combination of processes is based exclusively on the customer’s individual requirements. This purely problem-oriented approach guarantees an effective and cost-efficient procedure and is a key aspect of our company philosophy, alongside professional competence, speed and reliability.
Nowadays OFG-Analytik is one of the leading independent companies offering surface and materials analysis to almost all areas of industry in Germany, Europe and North America.
