Microscopic and morphological analysis

The initial phase of any of our accredited investigations always includes a visual inspection and documentation of the samples, components, and/or damaged parts. In this process, microscopy is an indispensable step for capturing detailed images of the samples and defect patterns, revealing specific structures or features invisible to the naked eye, and documenting them. Using our microscopic techniques, surfaces, structures, microstructures, and even fractures (fractography) can be examined down to the micro- and nanometer scale.
